This is fantastic. It's like WWII set in space, and I love it!

too bad those variants arent real. itd really be something if we had plasma and laser technology by 2030.
Voidlord1 Featured By Owner Nov 29, 2012
well laser tech, more than likely, Laser weapons are at experimental usefulness now, so not long till we might be seeing them on the battlefield as standard weapons, of course against lasers, the best defence is a rock, literally. Plasma is alot harder, there really isnt that much development going into plasma yet

awesome. theyd better get on plasma and particle physics soon if we are ever gonna make it to alpha centauri in this generation... or the next one anyway.. also nanotechnology and nanomachines. OH thatd be a great use for tanks! in repairing armor i mean.

Nanotech can also be used to make better armour, so stronger yet lighter. But literally plasma weapons are incredibly advanced, Mass drivers are an evolution of standard firearms, Particle beam weapons are an evolution of Mass Drivers and Ion, Plasma weapons are an evolution of particle beam weapons...

Very nice, but the open area at the bottom rear of the turret is a horrible shot trap. I'd modify the turret to get rid of that unwanted feature.

4.9m width. That makes turret 3m max. And 3000-2*1100=800mm in width inside. It a very little turret))

it's not real armour thickness, it's equivalent armour strength =) real thickness is about 10 to 30 cm
Arklyte84826 Featured By Owner Jan 17, 2013
hmm, usually no one is putting equivalent armour strength in description(calculating it, keeping in mind all diffirencies in angles and materials, is quiet a problem)+I still don't see any hatches on the turret that may proof that there is someone inside it. If the cannon and machinegun are automated then there is no mistake in little space inside.
